Marsh JLT Specialty - Discussion of Risk in the current environment

Join Marsh JLT Specialty in a discussion of risk in the current environment.

In this seminar, Victoria Prescott, Senior Vice President, will focus on supervision whilst working from home, and provide an analysis of notifications during lockdown.

John Pennie will also discuss After the Event Insurance (ATE), which involves insuring against the risk of adverse costs being awarded against your client, and highlight some recent developments. This discussion will outline the danger of a professional negligence claim in the instance that a solicitor hasn’t adequately explored the availability of ATE for the claimant.

We will conclude with an overview of our thoughts on the October professional indemnity insurance renewal season.

The seminar is aimed at:

•       COLPs.
•       Partners.
•       Compliance departments.
It will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by a Q&A session.”
