During the presentation, Marsh will provide survey insights, case studies, and examples of potential risk mitigation actions solicitors can take. There will also be a short update on the latest insurance market conditions for firms who are renewing their professional indemnity policies in the summer.


Victoria Prescott, Risk and Error Management, Marsh Specialty

Victoria specialises in risk and claim reduction in the professional indemnity area. She delivers risk management advice and consultancy for UK and global law firm clients. Victoria joined Marsh in 2019 from Libra Managers where she was an Associate Director in the professional risk and claims team. Prior to that role, Victoria worked in private practice for six years dealing with professional indemnity claims, and also in general practice at the Bar for seven years. Victoria is a Barrister and has a Masters in Law from Cambridge University.

Marianne Mcwilliams, Client Service, Marsh Specialty

Marianne provides insurance advice and support to UK law firm clients. Marianne has been an insurance broker since 1992 and has worked with law firms since 2014.
