“Out in the Office Replies” – A Panel Discussion for LGBT+ History Month
Following the success of 2019’s event, the Leeds Law Society in conjunction with Addleshaw Goddard, will once again be hosting a panel event to mark LGBTQ+ History Month 2020.
The topic for discussion will be “Out in the Office Replies” the issues facing LGBT+ individuals who may or may not be out at work and the issues facing them.
A prestigious line-up of five panellists from across the legal sector and city of Leeds who will be ready to answer your questions. The panel includes:
  • Rachel Reese – Vice Chair of The Law Society’s LGBT+ Division and Director of Global Butterflies
  • Colette Morgan-Ford – Partner and Head of Construction for Weightmans LLP
  • Craig Burton – Founder and Trustee of Friends of Dorothy
  • Richard Fisk – Associate Solicitor at Addleshaws
  • Isaac Eloi – Trainee Solicitor at Freeths LLP and Co-Founder of Black Men in Law Network
The discussion will be chaired by Matthew Jones, solicitor at Weightmans LLP and LGBTQ+ Director for Leeds Law Society. 
The event will be held at Addleshaw Goddard on Thursday 6th February 2020. Timescales are as follows;
  • Registration and welcome drinks from 5:45pm to 6:15pm
  • Introduction from panel from 6:15pm to 6:30pm
  • Panel Discussion on the topic “Out in the Office” from 6:30pm to 7:30pm
  • Networking over drinks and nibbles from 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Places for this event are limited and as it is expected to be a well-attended event, we ask that you reserve your places early to avoid disappointment.
