Millennials Project - Workshop - Small & Medium Firms

Millennials – in the workplace – an exciting new project with Leeds University

Date: 19.09.17
Time: 5.30pm – 7pm
Who should attend?  Millennials in small and medium firms (under 45 Partners), CPS and working for the council and the third sector

In conjunction with colleagues from the School of Law at the University of Leeds we are preparing a report on the effect of Millennials in the workplace for the legal industry, which we hope will be helpful to those that are Millennials and those that work with them, supervise them and employ them.

We need your help to gather information. We have already sent out a survey and have had a great response but if you have not had a chance to complete it please access it here and note that it is open until 18.08.17.

Please note the criteria for each workshop, but if you have any queries please email Alex Byers

Please note that discussions will be under Chatham House Rules so we will keep contributions anonymous in the report.

A reminder - What is a "Millennial"?

Millennials are also known as Generation Y and sometimes the Net Generation. Generally the term is applied to individuals who reached adulthood around the turn of the 21st century. Although the age is known to vary in different publications, for these purposes we are applying the term to anyone who is 32 or under and has started their legal career, whether as a student or is currently employed.

Places are limited to 20 people per session so please get in touch as soon as possible to register your interest. Please note that in the first instance places at each session will be limited to one person per member firm. We will confirm your place by 12th September. A waiting list will be created, with any available places being released seven days before the event or earlier.
